How often should I bleed my radiators?

You should really be looking at 'bleeding' your radiators every year. This is something we'll look at doing included in your service so no need to worry.

How often does my boiler need servicing?

All Gas Appliances should be serviced every 12 months. If you're booking a service with us let us know if you have any other gas appliances as we can do those whilst we are there.

What can I do if my condense pipe freezes?

If your boiler struggles to fire when the weather is very cold then you may be looking at a blocked or frozen condensate pipe. You can try pouring warm water or using a heat pack on the condensate pipe outside to see if this removes the ice/blockage. Do not use boiling water as you may crack the external condenseate pipework. If this advice doesn’t do the trick give the experts a call we can sort that out for you.

Whats the best setting to leave my boiler thermostat on?

If you set your boiler thermostat to 65 degrees or lower and you have a condensing boiler installed then your boiler will now be in whats called its 'dew point'. Meaning that your boiler is in its highest efficiency mode saving you more money on your heating bills.
